2. Concord Square (Náměstí Svornosti): The town's broad main square, watched over by an arcaded Renaissance town hall and a 1715 plague column ringed by a later stone fountain. 0.2 km to the next stop
3. Egon Schiele Art Centrum: A modern-art gallery in a 1600s brewery, named for Egon Schiele, who painted the town in 1911 but never lived here. 0.4 km to the next stop

Afternoon

1. Seidel Photo Studio Museum (Museum Fotoatelier Seidel): A photographer's home and glass-roofed studio, preserved intact with its darkroom, cameras and an archive of some 140,000 glass negatives. 0.2 km to the next stop
2. Church of St Vitus (Kostel svatého Víta): The Gothic parish church crowning the old town, often mistaken for a cathedral, whose soaring spire is actually a Victorian-era imitation. 0.1 km to the next stop

1. Latrán Quarter: The castle's old service quarter along the river, guarded by the town's last surviving gate and home to a brewery running since the 1620s. 0.3 km to the next stop
2. Český Krumlov Castle (Státní hrad a zámek Český Krumlov): The second-largest castle complex in the country after Prague Castle: forty painted buildings, five courtyards and live bears in the moat, strung along a rocky spur above the Vltava. 0 km to the next stop
3. Castle Tower (Zámecká věž): The town's emblem: a slender Renaissance tower whose pink-and-gold 'stonework' is entirely painted illusion, with 162 steps up to the finest view in Český Krumlov. 0.2 km to the next stop

1. Cloak Bridge (Plášťový most): A towering three-tier Baroque viaduct that let the castle's princes cross from ballroom to theatre box to gardens without ever touching the ground, named not for its shape but for a vanished defensive wall. 0 km to the next stop
2. Castle Baroque Theatre (Zámecké barokní divadlo): A candlelit 1766 court theatre preserved almost complete, original stage, painted scenery and rope-driven machinery intact, one of only a handful left in the world. 0.4 km to the next stop
3. Castle Garden (Zámecká zahrada): A 750-metre Baroque terraced garden behind the castle, home to a Rococo cascade fountain and an open-air theatre whose seats, not the stage, revolve.
