About The Molos Promenade

Limassol's palm-lined seafront park on reclaimed land, a kilometre of boardwalk piers, turquoise water channels and modern sculptures, with the much-loved field of giant stone eggs by the sea.

The Molos, officially the Limassol Seaside Park, is the city's beloved waterfront promenade, built on land reclaimed from the sea and running about a kilometre along the shore. Palm-lined paths, flower beds, turquoise water channels and wooden piers stretch over the rocks, dotted with cafes, playgrounds and places to fish or launch a kayak.

Along the promenade runs the Limassol Sculpture Park, which grew from sculpture symposiums held here around the turn of the millennium, when artists carved works on site in local stone and marble. Its best-loved piece is a field of large speckled stone eggs, the 'Eggs of Birth'. Just inland lie the Public Gardens, and the Dasoudi beach stretches further along the coast.
