About Mosel Boat Trip
A boat trip on the Mosel from Bernkastel-Kues, past steep vineyards, wine villages and the ruin of Landshut, on one of the gentlest and most winding rivers of Germany.
The Mosel runs about 545 km from the Vosges mountains in France to the Rhine at Koblenz, winding through deep loops between the Eifel and the Hunsrück hills. From Bernkastel-Kues, short round trips of about an hour pass the wine villages of Lieser, Mülheim and Andel, and longer trips go to Traben-Trarbach.
Boats run daily in season, mainly from Easter to the end of October; the last departure of the day may run only on request. Tickets are sold at the landing. The deck can be cool and windy, so bring a warm layer.
