About Mini-Europe

A delightful miniature park next to the Atomium featuring 350 scale models of Europe's most iconic monuments at 1:25 scale, from Big Ben to the Colosseum.

Mini-Europe is one of Europe's most charming theme parks, spreading across 24,000 square metres alongside the Atomium in Brussels' Bruparck leisure complex. Opened in 1989, it features 350 meticulously crafted miniature reproductions of the European Union's most celebrated monuments, all built at a precise 1:25 scale. Every EU member state is represented across 80 different cities.

Highlights include a Big Ben that chimes, an Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, the Acropolis, the Alhambra of Granada, Mount Vesuvius (which actually erupts with smoke every few minutes), a recreated fall of the Berlin Wall, and dozens of Flemish belfries and market squares. The attention to detail is extraordinary, tiny trains run, windmills turn, and ships sail through miniature harbours. On a leisurely stroll around the park, visitors pass through the entirety of Europe in about two hours.

Did you know? Mini-Europe opened in 1989, the same year the Berlin Wall fell, and features a model of the wall with a button visitors can press to simulate its collapse.
