A walk along the Getxo cliff path reveals a remarkable procession of these mansions, most still intact. The Getxo marina offers sailing and water sports. The nearby Playa de Ereaga is an elegant resort beach. And the Vizcaya Bridge, the UNESCO World Heritage transporter bridge, connects Getxo to Portugalete across the estuary.
