About Euromast

Rotterdam's 185-metre observation tower with panoramic views, a revolving Space Cabin, and thrilling abseiling and zipline experiences.

The Euromast is Rotterdam's most beloved observation tower, built in 1960 for the Floriade horticultural exhibition. Originally 101 metres tall, a Space Tower addition in 1970 raised it to 185 metres, making it the tallest publicly accessible observation tower in the Netherlands. The observation deck at 100 metres offers sweeping views over Rotterdam, the Nieuwe Maas, and on clear days across to the North Sea coast. Above, a glass-walled Space Cabin slowly revolves while ascending to 185 metres, offering a full 360-degree rotating view. For the adventurous, the Euromast offers abseiling down the exterior and a zipline that carries visitors horizontally away from the tower. A brasserie and hotel suite are built into the tower. The Euromast stands at the edge of Het Park, one of Rotterdam's most pleasant green spaces.

Did you know? The Euromast was built in 1960 at 101 metres tall, then extended to 185 metres in 1970 with the Space Tower addition.
